What Fray Was Here?: Social Justice Shakespeare and The Wilbury Theatre Group will hold non-AEA auditions for I'm At Your Window on Monday May 5th through Wednesday May 7th from 6PM to 9PM. For an appointment, please email whatfraywashere@gmail.com with a preferred day/time slot request. All performers should prepare eight bars of a rap song and eight bars of an R&B song of their choice to be performed a cappella. A headshot and resume are requested. Callbacks will be held on May 10th @ 11AM. Performers of all ethnic and racial background are encouraged to attend.

The Story

In a modern reimagining of this classic tale of star-crossed lovers, the city’s most eligible bachelorette falls in love with her family's enemy. I’m At Your Window sets Shakespeare’s rhymes to the rhythms of Hip-Hop, against the backdrop of America’s racial reckoning, ignited by George Floyd’s murder. With Hip-Hop beats and Shakespeare’s words, the well-known story of Romeo and Juliet comes alive. The piece spans over the summer of 2020. I’m At Your Window shines a melodic light on the rift in the fabric of America and how the young carry, push against, and suffer from their parent’s legacy.
